I have the app and ... if there is a way to connect to 'assemblies' I cannot find it. The app seems very compartmentalized. Anyway.. there doesn't seem to be a way to follow your instructions
I suggest that you send an email to the NY assembly for guidance if you state doesn’t have one yet, but I had the impression that all of states started organizing their assembly😊

You need to download the life force app in your phone, and go to assemblies and find your State to connect with them.😊
